Phantasiis

Or why I went back to basics for this website.

When I started Phantasiis, it was the birth of a new music persona. Leaving my guitar roots behind and moving to learning everything about music production and beat making.

The first change was that my creative efforts diverted towards music and learning. Rarely writing for the sake of writing. Now the act of writing meant writing lyrics for my songs.

While a noble effort, writing became associated with music creation only. I feel that something was missing in the middle. The actual storytelling and developing moments of how a song was created.

In short, it’s been years where I felt lost in the narration of my story. Life happens and time does not wait on us. I want to keep track of it.

I’ve been releasing music regularly. Specially 2024 was filled with several single releases and YouTube videos.

I am now around 400 videos and when I look at that number I can’t believe it. I made progress over time. While I have a long road ahead, each video shows that I have been consistent.

Perhaps, writing became secondary and other creative outlets took over.

Now I write to you to remind us that we are here, live and in the present moment.

Let’s remember our essence and basic needs, which for me was and still is, writing.
