    A new instrumental that explores somber feelings.

    This time we felt the darkness. A slow ambient hip-hop track with dark boom bap vibes. Perfect for those in the underground scene. It sounds cinematic, urgent, full of anticipation.

    An anticipation that never gets to settle down until the track ins finished. I hope you enjoy this instrumental piece I produced.

    I created this instrumental using two main instruments. A guitar patch from Serum 2 for the melody, and a piano riff from Creepy Piano 2 by ESL.

    The bass was produced using Native Instruments Monark instrument.

    The drums were programmed using Maschine 3 – Street Swarm library.

    The tempo for this beat is 68 BPM. In the Key of E min.

  • Save Me – Ambient Trap Type Beat

    A melodic guitar-driven cloud trap instrumental.

    Another track that is part of the “The Love Substance” instrumental series. This one is more dense and moody than the others. I spend time mixing this track, maybe more than my usual approach. I am satisfied with the outcome.

    This instrumental piece was an exploration of the trap music genre, particularly ambient or cloud trap as its also known. This instrumental reminds me of my early songs as Phantasiis. I just went what it felt right at the time, not afraid of arrangement styles or sound choice. I just did music for the sake of making it. Great times.

    After years of producing, I feel that I follow dark, dense, and emotional tones. Other times I create ambient music with more openness. I just follow the muse.

    When writing lyrics, though, I do follow my emotions and trapped feelings in the moment. Compromising between pure truth and metaphors for life events. Always a thrill of saying too much or not.

    I hope this ambient trap beat inspires you.

    This instrumental was intense to create. I still remember the excitement and nervousness of that very moment in production. I was in flow. I was going through the motions. I was alone. I was sad and full of angst. I needed out.

    And out I go. Musically.

  • Self Reflection – New Ambient Type Beat

    A downtempo and introspective instrumental

    This track is called “Self Reflection”, and is the second of my upcoming instrumental EP titled, “The Love Substance.” A collection of five instrumentals with possible b-sides with lyrics. Available in the future in my Bandcamp artist page.

    I wanted to portray an emotion of deep introspection when I produced this track. The goal was to use a minimal approach in sound selection. In this case, 5 audio tracks in total. At the same time, I wanted to create a wall of sound during the choruses.

    I aimed to create an ambiance with the string sections drenched in reverb. The vocals are meditative, and in a way they hint sadness. A sadness of knowing the real question if you are the one to love that reflection in the mirror. Therefore, the title.

    This song does not aim to be a sad tune. This is a song to think inward and explore such findings outwards in your world.
