Hey friends, I finally got an AKAI MPC Live 2 and I am loving it.
As a Native Instruments Maschine user, making room to learn-and re-learn- a new work flow has been challenging, yet fulfilling. I love the fact that I do not need to depend on a computer to make music. Less time setting up, more time having fun.
Just playing and learning as I go for the sake of music and getting intimate with the art.
I finally was able to make something out this device after a few YouTube tutorials.
Night Shift was the name it evoked. The name came to mind naturally and decided to stick to it. I did my best to mix it and master it and it still manages to sound raw. Not bad for change, eh?
Overall this device is packed with a lot of features. Inputs and outputs and it even has wifi to download my drum samples and one shots from splice. And the best part is that it has built-in speakers that get the job done.
Anywho, that is it for now. I hope you enjoy the song as much as I did making it.
